Tree

You may create node on sibling and descendant levels, edit nodes, copy and paste. You can select more than one tree node. Also you may restructure tree (also drag-n-drop includes), work with states, find and replace substrings in node titles, expand and collapse node and all tree. You may store tree properties (author, comments, etc.), save/load tree files to/from file. See more.

States

With FreshOutline you can mark tree nodes with states. First you define state dictionary then assign one of states to one or more selected nodes. Each state may be assumed with picture, text color and style (bold, italic, underline, strike out).

When you will assign state to node it will be redrawn with state attributes.

Card

With FreshOutline you can store additionnal data for each tree node. Data stores in i.e. "Card". To store data you need define the card structure then you may move between tree nodes and fill card controls.

When you define the Card structure you may choose following fields types: Bool, Date, DateTime, Float, Hyperlink, Integer, NodeLink, String, Text.

You may edit card structure when you work with your tree but you can not modify the field type of field already created.

Export and Import

If you want to use your data outside of FreshOutline you may export it to one of following file formats: CSV (Comma Separated Value), TXT (Delimited Text), SLK (Spreadsheet SYLK), TXT (Plain Text), RTF (Microsoft Word compatible RTF).
Note: Only first line of Text-type fields will be exported for CSV, Delimited Text, and SYLK formats.

If you have data prepared with other programs you may import it to FreshOutline. Following file formats are supported: CSV (Comma Separated Value), TXT (Delimited Text), HJT (TreePad File).
Note: If TreePad file has Rich Text Format - type articles then they will be converted into plain text. HTML - type articles will not be changed.

Also FreshOutline is a site-generation tool now. You can publish your trees with node data to html site.

Preview and Print

You can get quality printed document report for your tree and its card data. The final look of this report is defined with Page and Document setup options. Before print you can preview your document with full WYSIWYG style. You can print all pages of document or some pages and/or save their pictures to disk (as Windows Bitmap).
