Menu "File"

Menu "File" has following commands:

Command Description New... Opens "Create new file" dialog then creates new tree with choosed options. With this command you can create "empty" tree or tree like one of list of templates. Open... Shows "Open" dialog then loads tree file. Save Saves tree file if changes was made. If tree just created shows "Save as" dialog. Save as... Saves tree file with the different name. Shows the "Save as" dialog then saves tree file with redefined name. Page and Document Setup... Shows "Page and Document Setup" dialog. With this dialog you may tune a lot of options which define the look of printed/previewed document. Preview Prepares document and shows its preview (switches to Preview mode). The look of document depends of options tuned in "Page/Document Setup" dialog. Print... Shows "Print" dialog then prepare document and print it all or some selected pages (this option defined in dialog). Send > Opens "Send" submenu. See description for commands below in separate table. Export... Shows "Export wizard" dialog which guide throu the export parameters setup process and build result data. Import... Shows "Import wizard" dialog which guide throu the import parameters setup process and build tree file. Properties... Shows "Properties" dialog. With this dialog you may see tree statistic (size, node count, level count etc.) and define "Title", "Subject", "Author" and other tree file propetries. [Recentl Files List] Recent Files List contains the list of last used files. When you first start the program this list is empty. When you choose the file from this list FreshOutline loads it. If previous edited file was changed then program will ask you for its saving. If you keep pressed the key "Shift" during choose the file from Recent Files list, the tree will be loaded into new instance of program. You can manage the nesessity of storing that list and its size using "Options..." dialog (page "Save"). Exit Terminates work with program. If tree file was changed program will ask you to store it (this confirmation is optional).

Submenu "Send" has following commands:

Command Description Send as Sttachment Provides to send your tree file as e-mail attachment. Choose this menu item and send your tree, for example to your friends. Send Text Panel Content Provides to send Text panel content as e-mail. Create Shortcut on Desktop Creates shortcut for tree file on desktop. After creation of shortcut you get fast access to your tree: double click on shortcut icon and work with your hierarchicaly organized data!

Menu "File" in Preview mode has following commands:

Command Description Save as Bitmap... Shows the "Save as" dialog then saves current previewed page image to Bitmap file (BMP). Print... Shows "Print" dialog then prepare document and print it all or some selected pages (this option defined in dialog). Close Preview Closes Preview mode.
