freshoutline overview

This hierarhical database tool is for organizing your data in a tree-like style. You can organize your live data, including to-do lists, record-keeping, contacts, addresses, genealogical trees, meeting notes, research notes, bibliographies and ideas.

Store data using card form

FreshOutline is a flexible outline database utility. For each node you can store additional info (i.e. "card") with user defined structure. Then you can fill fields of card with data. FreshOutline has a lot of field types: Boolean, Date, DateTime, String, Text, Integer, Float, Hyperlink, Nodelink. Also you can tune card view (colors, margins) and field view (label, picture, color, font type, color, size, and style).

Mark tree items using states

You can define State Dictionary, the list of states with picture, font color and styles for each state. When you assign state to tree item it will be shown with settings defined for state.

Search your data

FreshOutline provides search data in tree and (or) card fields (all or any). You can search tree node links with predefined depth.

Preview and Print

When your tree is ready you can get the paper document with printed tree (as you see on screen) and card data. FreshOutline provides final document look's customization in large limits. Also you can get tree image (bitmap) of full tree or its part. Please read our article "How to Print Tree".

Export and Import data

If you have data prepared with other programs you may import it into FreshOutline. FreshOutline can import CSV (Comma Separated Value), TXT (Delimited Text), HJT (TreePad File), AO (ActionOutline File), Internet Explorer bookmarks.

Publish data to WEB

Your tree outline may be published to local machine, intranet or internet. Publish to WEB feature will help to do this operation. FreshOutline has seven nice design site templates.

Flash-drive (portable) mode

FreshOutline is available in portable mode. Install it to flash drive and use it over your workstation and notebook!
